Vice Forest Conservator of Udaipur (Central), Om Prakash Sharma will be awarded ‘Partnership Award’ by the President of India in the 7^th National Innovation Award Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, for his innovative work in rural areas.

He was selected by National Innovation Foundation India.

Sharma was involved in encouraging the people in rural areas to produce Bamboo made Agarbatti and Furniture, Alovera Juice, Gel and Shampoo, Sitafal Pulp, and some other innovative products which made the villagers self dependent. His ideas were later followed in several other states.
