Haji Asgar Ali Rasoolji Valiji, s/o Late Qayum Ali Rasoolji Valiji passed away on Thursday, 28 January 2021.

Haji Asgar Ali in his career spanning more than 4 decades, has served Hindustan Zinc Ltd in the capacity of Project Manager and later on served Binani Cement in the capacity of Deputy General Manager.  Haji Asgar Ali was also involved in service to the Dawoodi Bohra community in Udaipur as well. He was instrumental in overseeing civil works as well as had a role to play in the construction and maintenance related tasks of most Masjids of the community in the city.

He is survived by his Wife (Fatima Asgar Ali); Daughters and Sons-in-law (Dr. Nazima - Dr. Murtaza; Sakina - Idris; Shabnam - Sarfraz); Son & Daughter-in-law (Lookman, Fatema); Granddaughters (Nausheen, Aliza, Zahra); Grandsons (Imtiaz, Ibrahim, Hussain, Alizain) and Grandson-in-law (Sibtain).
