Tarushree Sharma, commonly known as ‘Taru Didi’ among the Udaipur media passed away today in a road accident.

Tarushree started her career in 2007 with Rajasthan Patrika as an in charge of kid’s magazine under the banner of ‘Baal Hans.’ In her 7 long years of journalistic life, she worked as Sub Editor and Chief Sub Editor.

Taru was a renowned name in the Medical reporting. She was amiable and always held a helping hand to her colleagues. Her juniors held high respect because of her dedication towards her work. She always supported her juniors and always raised a high voice for the problems of people.

She was recently married to Roopak Sharma, who is working for Zee Marudhara in Jaipur. With the onset of new phase of her life, she transferred to Rajasthan Patrika’s Jaipur office and started handling the Desk.

Panic spread among the media of Udaipur as soon as the sad demise of the senior journalist was reported. Upon receiving the information of the sorrowful incidence, a huge crowd of journalists gathered at the emergency wing of the MB Hospital. Someone from the media field said that Taru Didi was like an elder sister who always supported her. Some said that she was her family while some recalled her with teary eyes.

Tarushree’ s father was related to the field of Ayurveda and her parents are living at Patho Ka Magri near Sevashram.
