It is dream come true for a student of the Pacific University who is eager to present his first composed song in a live performance tomorrow in ‘Technitude-2012’ to be held at the Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Auditorium.

Nikhil Ompraksah, a student of 7^th semester of the Pacific Institute of Engineering claims ‘Pacific Song’ to be the first ever college song of India.

Inspired from Kolaveri Di, Nikhil thought that when a song like Kolaveri Di can become so much popular through the internet; why not compose a song with good lyrics and composition and after months of hard work he came out with his college song “Pacific Song”.

“It took me 7 months to compose the whole song”, says Nikhil. Meanwhile, he also says, “I faced several difficulties like notes of the song, composition, studio arrangement, re composition, etc”.

Despite of the hardships he was determined towards his aim to compose the song and at last he made it. Chaitanya Bhatt, a colleague assisted Nikhil in providing overall help in coming up with the complete song.

In order to maintain the surprise element, the lyrics of song are not disclosed yet. Raj Nair will accompany Nikhil to sing the song.
