Pacific student tops Indian Army’s All India Women Officers Technical Entry exam

Sania Rajput, an ex-student of Pacific college, Udaipur, has topped the merit list of Women Officers Technical Entry (Civil Engineering) of Indian Army.

Sania Rajput, an ex-student of Pacific engineering college, Udaipur, has topped the merit list of Women Officers Technical Entry (Civil Engineering) of Indian Army.

Sania Rajput, daughter of Sub Jagdev Singh Chib, is a resident of village Bharakh of tehsil Pouni, Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir. She did her schooling from Udhampur before joining Pacific University, Udaipur for her Civil Engineering.

After completing her engineering, Sania filled up the entrance form for technical position in Indian Army. She then underwent a screening test and was amongst 24 students selected after that round. She finally topped the overall assessment after the other rounds.

Sania is the first such female student from Jammu and Kashmir.

Sania’s inspiration for getting into Armed services was her father, an ex-army man. Her grand father was also in the army. She was happy now that her childhood dream of serving in the army has been fulfilled.
