The well known socialist, founder of Narayan Seva Sansthan and recipient of Padma Shree Award, Dr. Kailash “Manav” have joined Facebook.
Mr. Manav has been serving the mankind through his social trust, Narayan Seva Sansthan which was established on October 23, 1985. The Sansthan is well known today all over the world. Mr. Manav has put great efforts in bringing up this trust for the help of poor, needy and helpless people of society.
All the services of the trust are free of cost and the Sansthan is entirely run by the donations it receives. The Sansthan has operated over 95000 polio patients, helping them stand on their legs. Not only this, they have also been given vocational training for their employment so that they are strong both physically and economically. Another great work by the Sansthan is the marriage of the needy and physically challenged people. All these services are run in the interest of society and human welfare.
Truly, Mr. Manav is doing a great job through this organization. Very few people in today’s world are moved by the pain of others. It was a result of his selfless efforts that he was awarded Padma Shree for Social Service by Honorable President on May 5, 2008. Also, he has been honored by many renowned State and National Level Awards for his noble work.
We are happy that Mr. Manav has few of our UT members on their friend list. He has also created a Facebook Page for the trust. It is really nice to see Social Services coming up to the Social Networking platform. Team UT wishes them good luck, may this congregation of Social Service and Social Networking help NSS in it’s noble cause.
