A top performed in Academics, Darpan secured 99 percent in the Boards and went on to do his CA and MBA 

Darpan Inani, born in Udaipur, has bought honors to Udaipur after he secured a Gold Medal at the Para Asian Games 2022 being held at Hangzou in China.

Darpan Inani was born at Subhash Nagar in Udaipur and lost his eyes when he was 3, after being daignosed with Steve Johnson Syndrom. Darpan never let his visual impairment keep him from being good at academics.  Not only that, he went on to become a Chartered Accountant by profession and is also India's highest FIDE Rated Chess Player in the Visually impaired category.

Darpan has performed his best till date at the recently held Para Asian Games in Hangzhou enabling him to secure a Gold Medal for India in the Team Events under B-1 category.

His parents migrated to Vadodra (then Baroda) when he was still a kid and got him enrolled in a school there. Darpan was the lone visually impaired student in the school. However he competed with his peer group and always secured above 90 percent marks and was always among the Top 3 in his class. He chose Commerce in Senior Secondary and after securing 99 percent marks in the 12th Board Examinations, joined the CA Coaching classes. He cleared his foundation and intermediate examination in the first try and went on to complete his Chartered Accountancy degree. Post doing his CA he appeared for the CAT Examination and was selected in India's top management college in his first attempt itself.
