“Formulation and Evaluation of Ocular Drug Delivery Systems for Drugs Used in the Treatment of Glaucoma”… this was the PhD topic of Mr. (now Dr.) Kamal Singh Rathore of Bhupal Nobels’ College of Pharmacy, Udaipur (Rajasthan), who was awarded the Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceuticals, by the Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.

Dr. Kamal, an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Udaipur, is an Associate Professor and Head of Department of Pharmaceuticals, B.N. Girls College of Pharmacy conducted this research under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Nema, Director, Rishiraj College of Pharmacy, Indore-MP, and co-supervision under Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Sisodia, Head of Department, Pharmacology, B.N. College of Pharmacy, Udaipur.

Dr. Kamal has published 29 papers in Journals of International and National repute and has presented his work in various conferences. He was also awarded with “Young Pharmacist Award” at the International Pharmacy Conference held in Goa on February 26th and 27th, 2011.

He won the best Oral paper presentation twice and won National level APTI Pharma Quiz Competition at Jodhpur in 2009. He has visited Thailand, Egypt and Nepal for seminars and presentations.
