Kumbhalgarh Festival reaches to its pinnacle on the second day with large number of visitors gathering to witness the historical event blend with cultural, folk and adventurous show. Various programs including Music, Dance and Art, attracted large number of foreign and local tourists. The audience not only appraised the classic performances by various artists but also got involved in series of events like Mehandi, Rangoli competitions, Tug-of-War, Painting exhibitions, and etc. Yesterday, a group of 250 students from Maharana Pratap Girls’ College, Bhinder, visited the festival and also took part in various competitions.
Audience enjoyed mimicry by artist Ashok Verma, and also, loved portrait making by Vinod Govind, from Rajnagar. 23 painters have also exhibited their artwork at Hotel Haveli. At evening, prominent tabla player Fazal Qureshi, spell bounded the audience in his one hour non-stop performance. To conclude the Day-2 of Kumbhalgarh Festival 2013, block official Govind Singh Ranavat, and officer of Tourism Department Dileep Singh Rathore, garlanded all artists and welcomed them in the festival.
