Dr. S.N.A. Jaffery, Professor at Mohanlal Sukhadia University will be awarded with ‘Bharat Shiksha Ratna’ for his valuable contribution in the field of Astrophysics and Astronomy by ‘The Global Society for Health and Education Growth’. He will receive this award on 27 ^th February 2012 in Delhi. It’s being said that it is for the first time in the state that a scientist will receive ‘Bharat Shiksha Ratna’. Professor Jaffery is currently working in the Department Of Physics, M.L.S.U. and also acting as the Dean for Master of Computer Applications at Vigyaan Bhawan. He is continuously involved in various seminars, workshops and studies related to Astronomy and Astrophysics. Professor Jaffery said that he is being awarded because of several seminars that he participated and organized on the subjects such as Artificial Raining, Gravitational Web, Astronomy and Astrophysics etc.
