At the 37^th National Geography Conference held at Jammu, Guru Nanak Girls PG College’s Principal Prof NS Rathore has been reappointed as the Vice President of the Geographical Society of India.

Spokesperson Anil Chaturvedi informed that the conference was held from 2^nd to 4^th December at Jammu which was attended by more than 800 geography delegates, representatives of their own states.

Prof NS Rathore will be representing the west zone which includes Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and Dadar & Nagar Haveli.

After attending the conference, Rathore mentioned that the geographers held discussions and presented papers about environment, eco-tourism and resource development related topics & issues.
