Professor Dr. Qamruddin Kanorwala honored at retirement
After a long and successful tenure of teaching for 34 years, Professor Dr. Qamruddin Kanorwala was given an emotional farewell during his retirement function at Meera Girls’ Government College.
After a long and successful tenure of teaching for 34 years, Professor Dr. Qamruddin Kanorwala was given an emotional farewell during his retirement function at Meera Girls’ Government College.
A popular professor among the teachers and students, he was head of department of Urdu. He joined Government Education Services in 1977 as professor of Urdu at the Lohiya College. Since then he has been providing guidance to students of several colleges in Rajasthan.
Professor was selected in UPSC in 1986 after which he joined MG College as professor of Urdu. In 1997, he received his doctorate degree from MLSU on ‘Maulana Abdul Qalam Azad ki Rumani Nasr ka Tanqidi Mutala.’ He also guided 3 students in their literary work. Besides, he has been a senior research committee member of Kota University and read several papers in these years.
Simple living and high thinking has been the two motives of his life. With faith towards God, he has traveled to Hajj, Mecca Madina and other countries for education purposes including Yemen, Dubai, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Amman and Sharjah etc.
All the members of the staff, professors and students were present during the retirement function in the college premises.
