Dr Pushkar Sharma holds a PhD in Library Science from Mohanlal Sukhadia University and has more than 32 years of experience in academic and corporate libraries
Udaipur, February 22, 2025. Udaipur’s Dr Pushkar Sharma was honoured with the Best Corporate Librarian Award at an international conference in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
This award was presented at the International Conference on Library Science - “Nolan Organisation in Academic Libraries - Innovative Library Practices in the Digital Era Aligning with the National Education Policy for a Developed India 2047” - held from February 20 to 22, 2025, in Gorakhpur. The award was presented by Professor Punam Tandon, Vice-Chancellor of Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur, and Professor Sanjay Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor of Bihar Central University.
Dr Sharma, who is a resident of Badgaon, Udaipur, is currently serving as the Deputy General Manager (Library) at the Corporate Headquarters of NHPC Limited, a Navratna company of the Government of India, located in Faridabad.
He holds a PhD in Library Science from Mohanlal Sukhadia University and has more than 32 years of experience in academic and corporate libraries. Dr Sharma has presented papers at several national and international conferences. He has also been honoured by the Government of India at the national level.
