In the captaincy of Udaipur’s Priyadarshani Sharma, the team of Rajasthan won 60^th under-19 National Softball Tournament concluded recently in Pali.

Student of St. Mary’s Convent School, Priyadarshani and her team defeated Delhi in a dominating match with the final score of 11-3.

Nitin Menaria, Physical Education teacher and coach of Priyadarshani Sharma informed that the tournaments were held between 12^th-17^th Oct. and around 14 teams of different states took part in the softball tournament.

The Rajasthan team played with Punjab, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Delhi during the tournament.

Menaria informed, “Priyadarshani will reach Udaipur tonight and a grand welcome ceremony will be conducted on 18^th Oct at St Mary’s School campus to honor her achievement.”
