May 30, 2025 - Ranveer Singh is an accomplished Bollywood actor having made a strong mark in the industry with his talent. From historical films to romantic dramas, he has outperformed in all genres. Now reports coming out say that Ranveer also tried hard to become a superhero, but it didn’t work out. 

Ever since the news came out that Mukesh Khanna is planning to make a film on his superhit show Shaktimaan, there have been rumours that Ranveer might be part of it. In fact, Khanna also shared in an interview that Ranveer wanted to be a part of the film.

Meanwhile, there were also reports that Ranveer is going to bring Shaktimaan to the big screen. It was said that he has bought the rights of the film and might produce it. But now, his team has denied these reports.

Ranveer's team shared a statement: “The news about Ranveer Singh buying the rights of Shaktimaan is not true. Right now, he is busy shooting for Aditya Dhar’s new film. After that, he will start working on Don 3.”

A few months ago, Khanna had said he did not want Ranveer to play Shaktimaan because, “Ranveer looks playful, like someone who can trick people. He is a good actor and has a lot of energy. But I did not choose him for this role. He tried to convince me for three hours, but I did not agree.”
