Awards were hosted under Joint Collaboration of Population Foundation of India (PFI) and Jatan Sansthan

TV Show "Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon" promoted as a concept, through the awards

National NGO Population Foundation India (PFI) and Jatan Sansthan collaborated to host an award ceremony to felicitate real-life heroes at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Hall in the presence of Chief Guest and Chairman K.K Gupta and Program Officer of Population Foundation of India, Neeraj Gupta. These awards were hosted with an idea of taking the message of popular edutainment show ‘Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon’ ahead.
 

Rajdeep Singh of Jatan Sansthan informed that the association has been working for the betterment of adolescent health, nutrition, family planning, as well as eradicating child marriage, violence, gender-discrimination and addiction in around 40 villages.

Others who were felicitated at the ceremony included adolescent boys and girls who have initiated positive change in their respective villages. In addition, PFI’s  Neeraj Gupta shared the importance of personal hygiene with adolescent girls at the event.

Jatan Sansthan has been working towards creating awareness about issues like domestic violence, unplanned pregnancy and family planning in 40 villages across Rajasthan for the past 4 months.

 Anju Kunwar who was in-charge of the Awards, along with the Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) Officer, Lokesh Pandey, interacted with young boys and girls present at the awards and shared motivational stories through the medium of Ujala Clinics.
