Udaipur’s Reena Menariya released her work of fiction, “Lagaav Ka Rishta”, at a function organised by the Rajasthan Sahitya Academy, today.

“Young writers need to awaken their senses to facilitate participation in the development of the nation”…these were the thoughts quoted by the President of Rajasthan Sahitya Academy, Ved Vyas, on the occasion.
Ved Vyas also said that Reena Menariya has attempted to expose the anomalies in social parity within contemporary society in India, by means of this work of fiction.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Mahendra Bhanawat said that Reena has managed to express the role of self-interest in Indian life-style, through her experience, in her writing and this speaks of her maturity as a writer.
The President of the Lalit Kala Academy, Prof. Bhavani Shankar appealed to the young writer to nurture their creative capabilities, and spoke about maintain bonding with books, culture and the art of writing.
Reena Menariya said that after working for a long time on folk stories, this work of hers has taken her into a new orbit of literary (fiction) and adds a new mile stone to her writing.
Dr. Rajni Kulshreshtra, Dr. Shri Krishna Jugnu, Mahendra Menariya, Kanak Joshi, etc. were the other eminent personalities present at the event. This book has been published by Subhadra Publishers and Distributors, New Delhi.
