Vandana Sankhla has completed her PhD on the Effects of Cadmium Chloride induced genetic toxicity, which can be controlled and prevented by using Curcumin. This experiment was conducted on Swiss Albino Mice.

She has done her research under the guidance of Dr. Priti Singh assistant principal of Science College. Vandana has found that by using correct amount of turmeric can reduce the toxicity of Cadmium.
