Students of Resonance, Udaipur, have once again outperformed in the recently declared results of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) regarded as the toughest and most prestigious examination at high school level in the country.

 

Students of Resonance, Udaipur, have once again outperformed in the recently declared results of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) regarded as the toughest and most prestigious examination at high school level in the country.

13 Students of the leading institute for the preparation of IIT-JEE have been selected for scholarships in the final stage of the examination which was held on 8th May 2011. The results of the examination were declared on Wednesday night.

Resonance Students Bag NTSE scholarship Sachin Goyal of the Institute has secured All India Rank 6 by securing 173 Marks out of 200. Apart from Sachin, Pranav Gothwal (AIR-152), Chavvi Nahar (211), Isha Saruparia (211), Aakash Jain (279), Gargi Agrawal (331), Abbas Ali Pansari (331), Ahad Sanwari (494), Nilesh Vasita (557), Vandit Jain (557), Subrat Singh (737), & Aayush Jorwal (2233) are also amongst the successful students. All of them are studying in Class IX at present and having cleared the test, they will receive a scholarship of Rs. 500 /- per month from NCERT till they complete their studies (except for Ph.D).

A total of 1063 students have been selected from the country for this prestigious scholarship. The examination is conducted by NCERT for the students of Class VIII in Two Stages.

Stage-1 is conducted at State Level in the month of November. Students qualifying Stage 1 are then eligible for the Stage-2 which is conducted in the month of May.

The examining body assesses the students mental as well as scholastic aptitude by means of MCQ’s (multiple choice questions), the cut off Marks in the examination being 149 for General Category, 123 for SC & 116 for ST Category.
