Rice and family adore the City Palace
Susan Elizabeth Rice, US ambassador to United Nations visited City Palace on Sunday, accompanied by her family, including, her husband and two children. She admired the efforts towards the conservation and enrichment of the historical palace.

Bhupendra Singh Aouwa, vice-secretary Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation said, “Rice visited the palace and the museum with her family and learnt about the gallant history of Mewar”.
Rice also praised several charitable works done by the Maharana Mewar Foundation towards the service of human values. In the visitor’s book of the museum she wrote, “I love this beautiful palace and considering the colossal size of the palace, the task of its conservation has been very well taken care of.”
As per the schedule Susan E Rice departed for Delhi today afternoon at 1pm.
