Veteran Indian Actor-Writer-Director Satish Kaushik passed away on 9 March at the age of 66 in Gurgaon. As per sources, he suffered a Heart Attack, and collapsed on the way to hospital. His body will be brought back to Bombay after a post mortem.
Tweeting his personal account, actor Anupam Kher broke the news early morning on 9 March.

Satish Kaushik played iconic comic roles like Calendar in the 1987 Bollywood flick Mr India, Pappu Pager in the 1997 comedy Deewana Mastana, among others. His will be seen in Kangana Ranaut's EMERGENCY (where he plays the politician Jagjivan Ram) and his latest film was the 2022 THAR, which was shot in Rajasthan. Satish Kaushik won the Best Supporting Actor award at the OTT Play Awards 2022 for his role in Thar. For those who are not aware, Satish Kaushik wrote the dialogs for the the 1983 comic drama Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, where he also played the part of a corrupt builder Tarneja.
