Rishabh Jain and Jitendra Patel, the two IronMen athletes from Udaipur, have completed their iconic cycling pilgrimage to Ayodhya.
The duo, both fitness enthusiasts and cyclists, began their cycling journey from Udaipur at 5am on 17 February. As per their schedule, they cycled from Udaipur to Kota, then from Kota to Shivpuri, onwards to Kanpur and finally reached Ayodhya in the early hours on 21 February, after a brief stopover at Barabanki.
In conversation with UdaipurTimes, Jitendra said they will be paying homage (Darshan) at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on 21 February, and will participate in the morning prayers (Arti) at the temple on 22 February before leaving for Udaipur. Rishabh holds the distinction of being the first Iron Man from Udaipur while Jitendra is the second athlete to boast of this achievement against his name.
While Rishabh has been a fitness enthusiast from a very young age, Jitendra took to fitness and cycling a few years ago. Both Rishabh and Jitendra are members of the Udaipur Cycling Club and have many cycling and running feats to their name.
