Rockwoods High School defeats Dungerpur FC by 4-0
The three day FUTAA 5-A-Side Football Tournament started yesterday on 4th July at Hotel Shikarbadi’s football ground.
On the first day, the tournament began after cultural performances. Thereafter Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and Nivritti Kumar Singh Mewar inaugurated the tournament by passing the ball. Charles Martin, Chairman of S.S Music was the special guest.

Addressing the event, Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar said, “It is for the first time a football tournament of national level is being organized in Udaipur. This tournament will give opportunity for local football talents to nurture their passion and make big in future.”
Jinu K Samuel, organizer of the event informed, “On the first day three matches were played. In the first match, Rockwoods High School defeated Dungerpur FC by 4-0.”
Second match was played between Kidzee Cascaders and MMPS, in which Kidzee Cascaders won the match by 2-0.
The third match between MCG Chennai and NYFC Udaipur concluded in draw.
Jinu informed that 16 teams are taking part in this tournament and the winning team will get cash prize of Rs.51000. Jinu said, “The motto of FUTTA Tournament Season-3 is to raise funds for the underprivileged children with the help of an NGO – Sohard Charitable Trust.”
There is no fee or entry charges for audience to witness the matches which will be conducted every day from evening 4 to 11pm.

Hetric Heroes vs RFC Stars, Internity FC vs Hotel Broadway, MCG Chennai vs MMS, Skill Balls vs Green Marble and Pacific vs Bullet FC.
