Justifying Victor Hugo’s words, thriving musical band Rooh- Music for the Soul proved that no cause, whether big or small can go unnoticed if it is communicated through Music.

Releasing their song Jeene Do on YouTube on 24^th January, the band opened the eyes (and ears) to the plight of child labor in the country through their musical notes. A stoppage at Pune dhaba and a sight of a small child serving tea at late night inspired Ashok to write this song along with Harsh.

The song conceptualized into a video and today, it is being shown and shared at various NGOs to ban child labor, with over 1500 views on YouTube in just a few days.

The band consisting of Harsh Paliwal (Vocalist & Guitarist), Ashok Gandharva (Vocalist) and Priyansh Paliwal (Vocalist, Percussionist & Sound Recorder) collaborated in 2009 with a small dream to create and spread good music with a soul.

The band inclined towards performing soulful music and love songs, turned to sing for a cause. The Delhi Gang Rape that shook every Indian left a mark on these band members who created Titli Udi as a tribute to Nirbhaya.

The music for a cause took them a long way and they started playing at social shows and charity shows. The Jeene Do song is written lucidly which touches the soul of the listeners. The enchanting music tells the story of young minds and grips you with powerful visuals.

Spreading the message of ‘A child is meant to learn, not earn’, Jeeno Do is surely meant to go forward by full conviction for a great and good cause can never fail. Help save a child, educate him. Stop Child Labor!
