As a representative of Government of Rajasthan, Additional District Collector (Administration) B.R.Bhati handed over the demand draft of Rs. 1 Lakh from the Rajasthan Chief Minister Relief Fund to Beena Verdia, the mother of martyr Lt. Archit Verdia. This was a pre-approved amount.

On the occasion, District Sainik Welfare Officer, D.N.Sharma informed that a plan has already been sent to Housing Board Secretary to approve grant of a housing board quarter to the family.

In addition to this, a request has been sent to the Collector to name Government Senior Secondary School, Bedla after the martyr. It is worthwhile mentioning here for our readers that Lt.Archit Verdia lost his life while performing his duties towards the nation as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army in July 2011; he was the only son in the family.
