Samarth Janve receives Youth Award for classical music
The classical singer of Udaipur, Samarth Janve was honored with State level Youth Award by Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademy, Jodhpur. The award was given by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a ceremony held on 18th August at city Town Hall.

Samarth Janve is an Indian Classical vocal artist from Udaipur and son of Vilas Janve, a prominent theater artist of Udaipur.
“I got this award on the right time, my hard work has finally paid off and I dedicate my success to my teachers Pandit Chauthmal Makhan and Pandit Jasraj” said Samarth. He also expressed gratitude towards his parents, brother and wife for continuously supporting him.
Samarth said that he wishes to promote Indian classical music in Udaipur and also wants to train children who are interested in this field. He said, “I believe that in coming time, Udaipur will have a strong position in the field of classical music.”
When asked what message he wants to convey to the budding young musicians, Samarth Janve said, “I suggest them to listen to good music and develop ethics in their singing and music. Do lots of practice with discipline and concentration.”
