NCC Cadet Gautam Joshi of Sangam University selected in the Republic Day parade

Gautam Joshi will represent the NCC Directorate Rajasthan contingent in which top 57 candidates from Army, Navy and Air divisions from the Rajasthan NCC have been selcted.

Gautam Joshi, a student of Sangam University, Bhilwara, has made his almamater and Bhilwara proud after being selected for the Republic Day Parade.

Gautam is a NCC Cadet of 5Raj Indep Company and is pursuing BCA at Sangam University. AANO Lt Rajkumar, NCC officer of Sangam University told that Gautam Joshi was first selected at the unit level and then he was selected in the intergroup competition in Bhilwara. After getting selected in various pre-RDC camps held in Jaipur for 40 days, he was selected in RDC and will be a part of the PM Rally Parade and Cultural program.

Gautam Joshi will represent the NCC Directorate Rajasthan contingent in which top 57 candidates from Army, Navy and Air divisions from the Rajasthan NCC have been selcted. Out of these 57 cadets, 24 are from the Army. A total of 2 SD cadets have been selected from NCC Udaipur Group, in which only Gautam Joshi has been selected from Bhilwara 5 Raj Company, which is a matter of pride for the entire Bhilwara district. Flag Area, Best Cadet, Rajpath Parade, Guard of Honor, etc. competitions will be organized in Delhi.

Congratulating Gautam on his selection, Vice-Chancellor of Sangam University, Prof. Karunesh Saxena said that he should give his best in Delhi also and bring laurels to the state, District, University and his NCC unit. Registrar of the university, Prof. Rajiv Mehta also congratulated Gautam and all the NCC staff involved in his selection. Bhilwara NCC Commanding Officer Lt Col Tejendra Sharma told that Gautam Joshi has given his best, for which he congratulated all NCC staff of the NCC unit, viz. Subedar Jasveer Singh, Subedar Shailendra Singh, etc. Lieutenant Rajkumar Jain  told that the cadets of Sangam University have gone to Pre RDC in the past and this is the first time that a cadet has been selected in the RDC camp.
