Jagatguru Shankaracharya Maharaj Avimukteshwaranand announced the opening of the Hindu Sanskriti Pathshala (School of Hindu Culture) in Udaipur and an Ashram in Chittorgarh. Shankaracharya Maharaj, a disciple of Shankaracharya Brahmalin Saraswati Swaroopanand of Jyotirmath, made this announcement during his visit to Udaipur on 1 June 2023.

He made the above announcement in a sermon organized on June 1 at Jagat Farm House located on Kodiyat Road, Udaipur. On this occasion, he said that we have to make efforts to keep our culture intact. He further mentioned that the centuries old Hindu Sanatan culture has always taught us to have respect towards others and this is the reason why we were Vishwa Gurus in the past and in the years to come we will again occupy the same position.

Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat of Jagat Farm House warmly welcomed Shankaracharya on his arrival. Yudhveer said that Jagatguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Maharaj's teacher, Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj also visited this place (Kodiyat) in the year 2006 and today his disciple Jagatguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Ji Maharaj has come to visit and bless the same place. Members of the Shaktawat family warmly welcomes the Maharaj.

On this occasion, Rural Congress District President Lal Singh Jhala, Former Municipal Corporation Leader of Opposition Dinesh Shrimali, Councilor Gaurav Pratapsingh, Manohar Chaudhary, Chogalal Bhoi, Youth Congress President Harshvardhan Singh Kelawat, NSUI District President Joy Panwar, Dr. J.K.Chhaparwal, Tejsingh Bansi, Gujarat, and many eminent citizens of the city including Damodar Patel, Devendra Sahu, Rahul Shah, Abhimanyusinh Jhala, Dharmarajsinh Jadeja among others, were present at the sermon and received blessings from the Shankaracharya.
