One of the most renowned and senior Chartered Accountant of Udaipur, CA Bansi Lal Shah passed away this morning due to kidney failure. He had been suffering from kidney complications for the last one & half years. Bansi Lal ji, a resident of Panchwati, is survived by his wife and 5 sons.

Bansi Lal Shah was born on 26th June 1926, which incidently was also the occasion of Janmashtmi. Hailing basically from Dungarpur, Bansi Lalji came to Udaipur for establishing his CA profession. One of the earliest CA of Udaipur (CA Membership No: 3015), he attained the CA fellowship in 1959.

Shah initially was a partner in Bhatia Shah & Co before starting off his separate firm Bansi Lal Shah & Co.

Bansi Lal Shah & Co. is today one of the most well know CA firms in Udaipur & is now being managed by his sons CA Arvind Shah & CA Prakash Shah.

Being a Rotarian, Bansi Lal Shah, a freedom fighter in his early days, was also a very active social worker.
