Udaipur kids, who participated at the National Youth Games organised this month in Gujarat, won 7 medals in all.
This information was communicated by Renshi Mangilal Salvi, who is the Director of Marcos Martial Arts Academy in Udaipur. The students who represented Rajasthan have been trained at this academy. The games, which were organised at Dhol in Gujarat, took place between 23-25 July, under the auspices of The Association for Traditional Youth Games & Sports India and included over one thousand participants from across India.
The medalists from Udaipur included Rukmani Lohar who won the Gold Medal in Senior Girls Taekwondo; Monali Sen, who won Silver medal in Senior Girls Taekwondo; Priyanjali Kanwar who won Gold Medal in Junir Girls Karate. Prinshal Acharya, Jatin Patel, Devesh Dangi took Silver in the Kickboxing event, while Ali Salumberwala took the Bronze.
Executive members of Maa Ashapura Association, viz. Chetan Soni, Shyam Paliwal, Dipesh Sahu, Kamlesh Joshi; Ambevhani members Vrinda Soni and Komal Soni felicitated the winners and assured of better facilities towards preparation and training for martial arts in the near future.
