Deepak Sharma of Udaipur has won two gold medals in separate categories at the recently concluded Mewar Shooting Championship.

The 2nd Mewar Shooting Championship 2021 was held at the Maharana Pratap Khelgaon from 31 Oct till 2 Nov. Deepak won the Gold Medal for the Mix Event as well as the Team Event in 10 meter Pistol Shooting. Over 350 people had participated in this competition from across India.

Deepak has been pursuing this sport with his passion of biking for some years now, and all of this while managing his own business. His die hard interest in the sport of pistol shooting got him to train himself and he has achieved this level by training in his own backyard, without any professional coaching.
