A 5 feet Long, Rat Snake was captured today by Chaman Singh, snake catcher and wild life rescuer, at Fateh Sagar, near Mumbaiya Bazar.

The snake went inside the hole near the boat stand, after being noticed by the workers at stalls.  The workers then informed Chaman Singh for assistance.  Singh reached on the spot and rescued the 5 feet long rat snake.

Many passersby gathered around the place to get a look at the snake. In another incident of rescue, Chaman Singh captured a trinket, popularly known as “Sarp Sunderi” from Maldas Street.  Both the snakes have been set free near the dense hilly terrain of Thoriya Magra.
