The Muslim Community of Udaipur offered special prayers on the last Friday of the Holy month of Ramadan this year.  The Muslims are now in the last leg of Ramadan, with the festival of Eid scheduled for next week. A large number of devotees were seen in all the Prayer halls and Masjids across the town.

Though all the sects of the Muslim community offered the special Jumma-tul-Vida prayers, official sources from the sects informed that the sighting of the moon next week will confirm the final date of Eid.

The Bohra Community, however, will celebrate Eid on 7^th August.  In case, for the rest of the community, if the sighting of the Moon does not happen by Thursday next week, the Jumma-tul-Vida prayers will be held once again.
