Udaipur’s Arefa Tehsin’s wildlife work will be included in the 8th class school syllabus of Sri Lanka. In the book, information related to wild animals’ habitat, habits, breeding, food and other living details are provided.

Udaipur’s Arefa Tehsin’s wildlife work will be included in the 8th class school syllabus of Sri Lanka. In the book, information related to wild animals’ habitat, habits, breeding, food and other living details are provided.

Arefa informed that her book ‘Tales from the Wild’ has been included in the syllabus of Sri Lanka Group of Schools for the upcoming academic year. The book contains several stories of animals living in the wild.

Arefa with his father Dr. Raza Tehsin who is a renowned environmentalist and author of several books and journals used to visit jungles that enticed her to know more about the wild life.

Some of the books written by Arefa Tehsin are The Elephant Bird, Do Tigers Drink Blood & 13 Other Mysteries of Nature, Land of the Setting Sun & Other Nature Tales and Iora & the Quest of Five. She is presently working on The Study of the Jungle God and The Wild in our Backyard.
