Udaipur Artist Sushil Nimbark Receives National Kala Ratna Award
Artists from J&K, Pune and Odisha also honoured at the 19th International Art Festival
Udaipur, Nov 26, 2025 - The Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy, Jaipur, in association with the Antarang Welfare Society, Tonk, organised the 19th International Art Festival. Udaipur’s contemporary artist and MG College Art professor Sushil Nimbark was honoured with the National Kala Ratna Award. This award is presented to select artists across the country who have contributed to taking Indian art and culture to new heights.
Additionally, Ranveer Singh Thakur from Jammu & Kashmir, Prabuddha Ghosh from Pune and Ranjan Malik from Odisha were also honoured.
On this occasion, Maria Chistokhina and Marina Mamadaliyeva from Russia were felicitated with the International Youth Icon Award.
The event also featured a national art workshop, an art exhibition and a competition.
