Udaipur based Tempsens Instruments (part of Pyrotech group of companies), a renowned manufacturer and global supplier of Temperature Sensors, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Business Gaurav SME Awards 2012’, organized by Dun & Bradstreet and Axis Bank at ITC Maratha, Mumbai on 9^th Nov 2012.

Tempsens has received awards for “Best Performing SME” and “Best Small Enterprise” under Electronic Goods & Components segment and a special award for Best Young Entrepreneur was awarded to Vinay Rathi, Director of Tempsens Instruments.

Vinay Rathi on behalf of the company received these awards from Guest of Honor, Rajiv Chawla (President, Faridabad Small Industries Association) along with Shikha Sharma (MD & CEO – Axis Bank), and Kaushal Sampat (President & CEO – India D&B).

Tempsens is an ISO9001 Certified company with world class manufacturing units in Madri Industrial Area for manufacturing of Thermocouples, RTDs, Thermo wells and related accessories.

Rathi informed that the company has a vision to become one of the top global leaders in the field of temperature measurement. With this as an aim, the company has started manufacturing of diversified products such as Temperature Calibration equipments, Cables etc, to provide its customers all temperature related products under one roof. New plant was set up in 2009 for production of high performance compensating, signal & control cables at large scale. The Company has also entered in Joint venture with world reputed US. & Israel Company for production of Industrial Heaters and Non Contact Pyrometers.

He proudly announced that recently our NABL Accredited Calibration Services has also upgraded to -196°C to 1700°C for contact & non contact temperature sensors, making Tempsens Calibration Centre, the only lab in the country to have such a wide range after NPL (National Physical Laboratory) India.

Earlier also the company was also awarded with prestigious Rajeev Gandhi National Quality Award, 2005 and MSME National Award 2010.
