Twin brothers Kumail - Zuhair from Udaipur cleared the CA Intermediate Examination in their maiden (first) attempt. The results of the examination were announced on July 5, 2023. Kumail RV and Zuhair RV cleared both the groups in their first attempt. In an interaction with Udaipur Times, Kumail-Zuhair shared that their preparation for the examination began in December 2021, while they were also taking their XIIth Board examinations. They acknowledged that managing both sets of exams was daunting, but they were aware of the challenges and had unwavering determination to focus on their studies.

In the CA Intermediate Level, Kumail RV achieved a score of 441 out of 800, while Zuhair RV obtained 471 out of 800. The twin brothers mentioned that typically, students are provided with a preparation period of 9 months for the CA Foundation exams. However, due to the Covid-19 conditions, they had only 5 months to prepare, yet they were able to secure good marks. Kumail scored 261, while Zuhair achieved a score of 282 in the CA Foundation examination, which they cleared in their first attempt as well.

After completing the CA Foundation exams, the twins immediately commenced their preparation for the CA Intermediate Level within just 11 days. They acknowledged that the syllabus for the CA Intermediate Level was extensive, with two groups to cover. According to them, a candidate typically needs a maximum of 8-9 months to adequately prepare for this level; otherwise, passing becomes challenging. Following the completion of their CA Intermediate exams, they underwent a one-month training for the IT OC (Information Technology, Orientation Course). Finally, the results were announced, and they passed with outstanding results.

Currently, the twin brothers are dedicatedly preparing for their CA Articleship, which spans a duration of two years. Upon completion of the Articleship, they plan to appear for their final attempt at the CA exams. They will also apply in various firms and will give interviews. Their journey thus far has exemplified that with unwavering focus, concentration, and diligent effort, one can overcome difficulties and achieve remarkable success.

Their father Zahid RV hails from Udaipur and works in the accounts department of a multinational firm in Kuwait, while their mother Salma is a housewife. Their elder brother Mehdi RV is an Engineer and works for Amazon. Interestingly, their aunt Shamim RV is also a Chartered Accountant and works in the United States.
