Arya Sikhwal, a 2.5-year-old from Udaipur, Rajasthan, made history by reaching Everest Base Camp in Nepal, becoming the youngest mountaineer to do so. Arya went with her parents, Saurav and Neha Sikhwal, on this incredible journey, breaking many records.

Arya's father, Saurav Sikhwal, shared that the inspiration for this came from their previous trek to the Everest Base Camp, where he observed numerous children, none of whom were Indian. Motivated by this observation, Saurav decided to take his daughter on this expedition, aiming for a world record.

Arya underwent five months training both physically and mentally for this journey. Her safety remained paramount, with regular medical check-ups conducted at centers strategically located before major villages along the trekking route.

Every precaution was taken, including securing special permission from Nepalese authorities, taking the help of three international Sherpas, and ensuring access to oxygen support and hourly helicopter rescue in case of emergencies.

Despite the challenges posed by the rugged terrain and high altitude, Arya was able to reach the base camp. Throughout the journey, her oxygen levels remained stable more than the adults in the group.
