Udaipur Champion arrives amid Celebrations
Udaipur’s Bhupendra Kumar Vyas has made Mewar proud of his commitment, strength and enthusiasm in the recently concluded Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship in London by winning 7 GOLDS and 1 SILVER Medal for India in the 74 kg Equipped and Unequipped Powerlifting category.

He bagged 7 GOLDS and 1 SILVER Medal for India in the 74 kg Equipped and Unequipped Powerlifting category.
Hundreds of people welcomed this 41-year old Police constable and athelte at the Udaipur City Railway Station amid cheers, garlanding and showering of flowers on his victorious arrival today morning at 8 am.
“The weather conditions in UK, were not conducive to my regular environment and the cold and snow affected me unfavorably. Still I kept my determination alive and managed to give my best performance for my country.”

In the past, Vyas has represented Udaipur several times in district, state and national level competitions. He has also performed remarkably in Asian Powerlifting Championship held in Mangolia a few months back.
