Dr. G.L Dad of Geetanjali Medical College Udaipur was honored with Dr. J.P Modi Life Time Achievement Award-2012 in the 3^rd International Seminar of Indian Association of Medico-legal Experts held in Jaipur on 4^th of February.

Dr. Dad was awarded the title by R.K Sharma, Professor and HOD, Forensic Medicines of Akhil Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Sansthan (AIIMS), New Delhi.

He is the first medical jurist from Rajasthan to be awarded with fellowship in Indian Congress Forensic Medicine and Technologies by Akhil Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Sansthan.

At present he is serving as Professor and Head, Forensic Medicines Department at Geetanjali Medical College Udaipur. Before this, he had served as Professor and Head in Rabindranath Tagore (RNT) Medical College for more than 3 decades.
