India Luxury Style Week 2017 happened a couple of days back, with Akshay Kumar wowing the audience with his suave style and charisma.  Akshay now becomes the global Brand Ambassador for India Fashion Style Week, which is a show run by designer Ramesh Dembla, who, with more than 35 films under his belt, has dressed celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Madhawan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan and Tusshar in Bollywood, to Upendra, Ramya, Sudeep, Vijay and Aindrita in the Kannada film industry.

Why are we talking about India Fashion Style Week…how is is relevant to Udaipur?

Reason – Farhan Makrani, Udaipur’s modelling prodigy was a part of this show, taking the ramp for designers at the show.  22 years old and 6ft2″ tall, Farhan is a model/actor trying his luck in Mumbai.  Born and brought up in Udaipur, Farhan did his graduation from Pune and was selected in an audition for modelling grooming classes at Citadel in Pune.  He completed the audition and grooming course with flying colors, getting crowned Mr Citadel Pune in 2016.

Having not looked back since then, Farhan took up modelling assignments at various fashion shows in Pune (Pune Style Week), Bangalore (Fashion Designer Week) and Mumbai (Navi Mumbai Fashion Week).  Farhan has walked the ramp for designers Sumit Dasgupta, Shruti and Mangesh, Roshan, Aneesdeen, Hari Anand, Arjun Kumar and Santosh Kumar among others in all the above events.  He was the feature ramp walker for Aneesdeen for his Iconic Couture Collection.

To top up his performances, Farhan appears in the 2017 calendar of AD Designs Fashion House.  He is all set to get featured in Luxury Magazine, National Premium Magazine and is appearing in commercial shoots for Oriflame, Designers, Flipkart, Snapdeal, etc.

Farhan is keen on physical fitness and plays cricket.  He is fond of swimming and is also a professional dancer.
