MA Hussain, a renowned painter from Udaipur was felicitated with the Best Artwork Award at Dubai for his painting “Hussain vs Hussain”. This painting sold for Dh 1.25 Lakh, which makes it the most expensive painting sold this year at the UAE Tolerance Week 2021 event.

The painting was displayed at the group art exhibition and walk art show “Indradhanush” held during the UAE Tolerance Week - 2021 organized at the Indian Consulate in Dubai. This event was organized by Dr. Romit Purohit and founder and CEO of Paint Brush Art Community. This painting was the most expensive painting bought at Dubai this year.

Sonal Purohit told that 41 artists from 7 countries exhibited 50 artworks at the exhibition, where M.A. Husain's Hussain vs. Hussain artwork was chosen as the best.
