Rishabh Jain, a photojournalist at Dainik Bhaskar Udaipur was awarded the first prize in Rajasthan and Consolation prize at India level by Madhya Pradesh state minister Hari Shankar Khatik in a prize distribution ceremony held in Bhopal.

Jain’s photograph of a tribal girl was selected from over two hundred entries in ‘Pratibimb 2010’ a photography competition organized by Vanya – Tribal Welfare Department.

According to Rishabh Jain, the photograph was clicked in 2010 in a fair held in Gogunda, a tribal belt in Rajasthan. Around 237 entries were registered in the competition.
