2 world records were established in Udaipur in a space of 2 hours on Sunday. The records were established on the occasion of Hindu New Year (Nav Samvatsar 2075).

In the first record distribution of laddoos, Hanuman Chalisa and a photograph of Bajrang Bali was carried out in 11000 houses. In the second record, 5200 pairs of shoes were collected for needy people from houses.

Both the records were established by Namo Vichar Manch and the record was noted in Golden Book of World Record.

Over 2600 volunteers participated in the effort and worked as part of 26 different teams. The effort was initiated from Hiran Magri Sec-5 situated Mahaveer Bhavan.

The record attempt was initiated by Rajasthan Sahitya Academy President Dr Indushekhar. The volunteers started reaching houses from 8:05 am and started distributing the sweets and other things.

Members of Golden Book of World Record were also present during the occasion and they gave the organisers a certificate recognizing the record at the end.
