Udaipur Students Performed at Cultural Night

Diwali Fair-2011 brought a great news for the natives when Rajni Dangi, Chairperson, Municipal Council announced about the extension of time duration of the Fair. She thanked Gulab Chand Kataria, MLA and former Home minister and Shantilal Dhariwal Chief Administrative Secretary and Home Minister for their cooperation in increasing the duration of the cultural nights up to 12 p.m.
Today’s cultural programme started after a brief welcome ceremony of the guests and lamp lighting. The programme started with a prayer offered to lord Shiva by Tabasum and party which was followed by various performances by the students .The students of Alok School performed on the song ‘bachapan ke din na bhula dena…’ while girls from Residency School presented Chari Dance.Many students gave there solo performance on the stage which attracted all the spectators and compelled them to swing with them. Rahul Rao’s performance became a memorable one when he came on the stage in the garbs of a girl to dance on ‘maari titri…’
In today’s programme 34 students from various institutions and groups of Udaipur showed their talent.
Rajni Dangi, Chairperson, Municipal Council has also sought people’s cooperation in making this event a success by adhering to the arrangements made for parking etc, and seating arrangement during cultural night.
The major attraction of the Fair is Rajasthan’s biggest mascot of Mickey Mouse, which will attract children for fun and Ghost House on the other hand is ready to catch the attention of youngsters.
The co-ordinator of Cultural Committee, Dhanpal Swami informed that on 19 Oct artists from Little Champ and Deewana Group will perform on the stage.
