Udaipurite chess master cleares FIDE Arbiter Exam

Noted chess trainer from Udaipur, Vikas Sahu has cleared the FIDE arbiter examination held in Delhi. He will now be awarded a FIDE Arbiter Norm, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress.

From 10 to 12 January 2017 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in New Delhi, India, by the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE. 59 people from India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test held after the lectures.

Udaipurite chess master cleares FIDE Arbiter Exam

Seminar hosted a lecture by IA Prof. R. Anatharam (IND), FIDE Arbiters’ Commission Councillor and FIDE Lecturer. He was supported by Assistant Lecturer was IA Gopakumar Sudhakaran (IND).

Post the seminar, an examination was held and it was mandatory for participants to score over 80% marks to clear the exam.

With this Vikas Sahu has added another feather in his cap. He is already a well known arbiter in State and National circles and has been awarded 2009 Maharan RajSingh award and 2011 district administration award.
