Vibrant Entrepreneurial community and culture; Enterprise Startup Strategy and Uniquely Udaipuri are the three pillars of the Entrepreneurial ecosystem in Udaipur.  This was the concluding statement of Manish Godha, the founder President of TiE Udaipur Chapter, which he presented as a part of his vision, to the members of TiE Udaipur.

Manish, founder and CEO of Advaiya Solutions Pvt Ltd, took the podium as President for the last time in his current tenure of two years, at the 3^rd Annual General Meeting of TiE Udaipur Chapter, the 62^nd Chapter of the TiE Global community.

Vikas Jain, Executive Director of TiE Udaipur informed that the 3^rd Annual General Meeting of TiE Udaipur chapter was held on 4^th August at Ramada Resorts and Spa amidst the mountain valleys of Udaipur.  This AGM saw the handing over of the reigns of TiE Udaipur to a new leader and his new team.  Founding and outgoing President Manish Kumar Godha handed over the reins to industrialist Raj Surana, another champion for the cause.  Raj Surana, of Nahar Color/Orient Glazes was elected President of TiE Udaipur for the next two years.

Raj Surana, the incoming President, assured the members of TiE Udaipur that the resolute efforts to enhance the presence and purpose of TiE Udaipur at the local, national as well as global level will continue. “TiE Udaipur will ensure that the spirit of entrepreneurship and the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region will attain new heights through planned initiatives and projects”, added Raj Surana.

Vikas Jain informed that the presence of young entrepreneurs in the energetic new executive committee will ensure improvement in the working style of TiE Udaipur over the next two years.  Under this new team, the entrepreneurial agenda of TiE Udaipur will seek new avenues to take forward the vision of the outgoing team.

He further informed that the new members of the Executive Committee under President Raj Surana, include: Manish Kumar Godha (Advaiya); VInay Rathi (Tempsens);  Aditya Shah (GD Goenka School, Udaipur); Sandeep Bapna (Mewar Polytex); Abhishek Singhvi (Rajasthan Barytes); Deepak Bhansali (Pushpa Handicrafts); Navdeep Singh (Friends Engineering) and Siddharth Singhvi (Mumal Marbles).

Earlier during the session, Manish Godha took the members through the entire journey of TiE Udaipur, right from its founding, the vision at that point of time, the success, challenges and the efforts taken in the direction of creating a presence of TiE Udaipur on the global forum. 

Manish reiterated that the goal of TiE Udaipur has been to foster entrepreneurship by building and facilitating the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Udaipur – with major steps being taken in that direction.   He further said that the vision of TiE Udaipur has been “Start From Udaipur” – establish Udaipur as an attractor for talented entrepreneurs to create, validate and launch growth ventures.  This, he added can be accomplished through fostering institutions, funding and culture, which helps entrepreneurs learn, interact, work, attract talent and grow.  His vision summed up across three major programs – establishing TiE Udaipur as a connector hub for institutions and organisations, engaging start-ups with mentoring and funding and finally fuelling the growth mindset for the community.
