Vijayalaxmi Galundia Elected Joint Secretary of CAIT National Committee
Vijayalaxmi Galundia from Udaipur also appointed Convener of the Membership and Networking Committee of CAIT Women Wing at National Women Summit 2026 in New Delhi
Udaipur, April 21, 2026 - The Annual General Meeting (AGM) and National Executive elections of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), an organisation representing approximately 90 million traders and over 40,000 trade associations across the country, were successfully held in New Delhi.
On this occasion, Vijaylaxmi Galundia from Udaipur was appointed Joint Secretary on CAIT’s National Committee. This was announced by CAIT National president BC Bhartia and national General Secretary and Member of Parliament (MP) Praveen Khandelwal.
Alongside this, a two-day CAIT National Women Summit 2026 was held at Hindi Bhawan in New Delhi at which Vijaylaxmi was appointed Convener of the Membership and Networking Committee of CAIT Women Wing in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and entrepreneur Ruma Devi.
Chief Minister Gupta, in her address, said women today are excelling in every field and the participation of women on CAIT’s National Board reflects strong and balanced representation.
Around 400 women representatives from across the country actively participated in the conference. Udaipur was represented by CAIT Udaipur Secretary Dr Sonu Jain apart from Naina Jain, Chayanika Galundia, Kalpana Chordia, Ritu Bhatnagar, Anita Bhanawat, Seema Mehta, Jyoti Sehgal, Urmila Jain, CA Shanu Lodha, Pramila Siroya and Lalita Siyal.
