The youth of Udaipur have taken the onus of bringing life to the corners of the city with splash of vibrant colors and traditional designs.
Young artist Mamta Singh, associated with Thalagiri.com came forward with youth group Pukar (working towards clean and green Udaipur) and painted the wall of Fateh Sagar Paal, beside the last Chhatri under the initiative ‘Big Gandhigiri’ by 92.7 Big FM.
The simple wall of bricks was transformed with colorful brush strokes into a wall art from early morning to setting evening. The canvas displayed an abstract design with a Rajasthani Man in the trademark mustache saying ‘Swach Rangilo Rajasthan Maari Shaan’ (meaning: Clean, colorful Rajasthan is my pride).
The people coming at the most visited place of Udaipur appreciated the initiative taken by the youth. The art has in fact become a lesson for Udaipurites, especially youth to contribute towards cleaner and beautiful Udaipur.
