Ms. Dolly Taldar won the “Young Hotelier of the Year” award at the Federation of Hotels & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) Hospitality Awards - 2026, held during the 56th FHRAI Annual Convention on 23rd August 2026 in Varanasi.

UdaipurTimes, August 25, 2026 | Udaipur Local News: Udaipur hotelier Dolly Taldar won the “Young Hotelier of the Year” award at the Federation of Hotels & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) Hospitality Awards. The award was presented to Ms Taldar at the glittering 56th FHRAI Annual Convention on 23rd August 2026 in Varanasi.

Dolly Taldar is the Director of Ramada By Wyndham Udaipur Resort & Spa in Udaipur, Rajasthan and Mumbai House Hotels, Mumbai.

Dolly holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai, a Master's degree from the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, Dubai, and École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland, one of the world's leading hospitality institutions.

Ms. Dolly Taldar won the “Young Hotelier of the Year” award at the Federation of Hotels & Restaurants Association of India (FHRAI) Hospitality Awards - 2026, held during the 56th FHRAI Annual Convention on 23rd August 2026 in Varanasi.

Speaking to UdaipurTimes, Dolly said that she always wanted to enter the world of hospitality and she feels hospitality is in her blood as her father Ratan Taldar is in this industry since more than 4 decades and she always dreamt to follow her father’s footsteps and be a successful hotelier.

Throughout her entrepreneurial journey, she has remained committed to creating a hospitality business that combines international standards with authentic Indian hospitality while continuously striving for excellence, innovation and sustainable growth. Dolly Taldar has promoted sustainable hospitality initiatives such as introducing re-usable glass bottles, plantation drives and reducing plastic waste in all her hotels. She strongly believes that entrepreneurship is not only about business growth but also about creating a positive impact on society, the environment, and the people associated with the organisation. She has also played an important role in driving technology adoption across hotel operations to enhance guests stay experiences and bring innovation in our industry.

Dolly Taldar has several accolades to her name but practicing responsible tourism and actively participating in Corporate Social Responsibility activities remain closest to her heart.
